We are celebrating the ordination of our newest priests in The Diocese of Atlanta: Derek, Adelyn, David, and Rhett!
Derek is sponsored by St. George's Episcopal Church (Griffin, Georgia), and will be serving in the Diocese of Southeast Florida at Good Shepherd.
Adelyn is sponsored by St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church - Atlanta, GA, and will be serving in the Diocese of Arkansas at St. Paul's in Fayetteville.
David is sponsored by the The Cathedral of St. Philip and will be serving at St Peter's Episcopal Church.
Rhett is sponsored by St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Atlanta, and will be serving at Holy Trinity Parish (Decatur, Ga.)

The Examination
The Ordinand then signs the above Declaration in the sight of all present.
The Consecration of a Priest
The new priest is now vested according to the order of priests.
The Bishop then gives a Bible to the newly ordained, saying
"Receive this Bible as a sign of the authority given you to
preach the Word of God and to administer his holy
Sacraments. Do not forget the trust committed to you as a
priest of the Church of God."
